In collaboration with VP/General Managers and Business Development Leadership, the Director of Revenue Enablement will work cross functionally to provide the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams the right content, training, and mentorship needed to hone their skillsets and effectively engage their buyers and customers. This role will work with our newest team members as well as our most tenured, helping to build a foundational knowledge of CivicPlus, our product offerings, and our buyers. You will be the authority on Sales Process, Sales Methodology, Sales Tools, and Storytelling from the lens of our customers. You will quarterback the Sales Onboarding & New Hire Training Program to drive quicker and more consistent ramp times. You will run point on sales readiness programs that will be tied to specific sales objectives and work cross functionally to make sure the teams are receiving the information they need when they need it.
Your Impact:
  • Execute the vision, roadmap, and priorities for sales communications and enablement at the individual and leadership levels, spanning sales development, account executives, and customer success from onboarding through the employee journey
  • Partner with subject matter experts (marketing, product, business development) to develop programs including but not limited to, role-specific training, product release, systems, certifications, and ongoing enablement
  • Drive adoption of the learning platform and available tools and resources
  • Implement a comprehensive and effective sales training program.
  • Evaluate current and proposed sales training programs for effectiveness.
  • Responsible for aspects of foundational and continuous learning programs for sales, including but not limited to: training content creation, scheduling and coordination, creation and deployment or delivery of on-demand courseware, and instructor-led sales training.
  • Create and implement successful sales process, methodology and sales playbook initiatives.
  • Craft creative sales training solutions with changing business needs and resources.
  • Ensure best-in-class experience for new hires on the sales team and continual improvement for existing employees.
There is no perfect candidate, but we are looking for:
  • 5-7 years training/sales or revenue enablement experience required.
  • Training experience with SaaS and/or Government organizations preferred.
  • Direct sales experience.
  • Proven success working in high volume, multi-faceted environment(s) managing multiple projects that require exceptional customer service, proactive strategic decision making, critical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, including the ability to offer out-of-the-box and creative solutions.
  • Ability to create and track metrics.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Extensive knowledge of sales methodologies as well as sales management best practices, including pipeline management and developmental sales coaching.
  • Expert ability to plan and facilitate training.
  • Strong strategic, conceptual, and analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • High adaptability and flexibility, including the ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.
  • Proven track record of success in a quota carrying position preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, Sales Enablement tooling (Chorus, ZoomInfo, AskNicely) and Sales Methodologies (MEDDIC, Challenger, Sandler)
  • Able to travel frequently and efficiently across a large geographic territory, with little down-time between periods of travel

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Estimated Salary Range: $104,400 to $156,600 annually; The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and is based on a 40-hour work week.
  • Potential Variable Pay- bonus plan based on set goals.
